Fishing in Maine, whether it be fresh or salt water is a great expierience, because Maine offers so many diffrent kinds of species. If you are looking for a challenging fish to locate and catch Stripers(saltwater) and landlocked salmon(freshwater) are probly your best choice but if you are looking for easy fish to catch but still put up a great fight, then Mackeral(saltwater) and Smallmouth(freshwater) bass are your best bet. But no matter what you like to fish for I guarantee Maine is a great spot to do it.
